I often find myself giving gift cards for birthdays, weddings and graduations. I’ve had to get beyond the idea that it seems a bit impersonal, and realize often times it’s the most practical. I love to be able to add my own personal touch by making a special card to hold the gift. Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy card with a gift card pocket, yet it’s super cute and looks much more complicated than it really is!
I love the Timeless Tulips Stamp set. It’s quick and simple, yet so very pretty! I stamped this tulip on one of the prints from the Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper. It was the perfect variation of color for the flower.
The little hidden pocket on the inside is the perfect place to hold a gift card.
I’ve done a brief video sharing how to cut and fold the card.

Today I have cute little birthday card for you using the So Very Happy Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!
Last Saturday was World Cardmaking Day… Not that I need to have a reason to set a whole day aside for making cards, but it did give me a great excuse to plan a card making event. This was one of the projects we did at this event.
The card base is Whisper White Cardstock layered with Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede. The sweet little owl is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored in using the daffodil delight and Calypso Coral Blendabilities.
You can find all the supplies to make this card below.
Purchase any of the supplies below through my Stampin’ Up! website, and I’ll send you the project sheet with measurements and directions free!
