I often find myself giving gift cards for birthdays, weddings and graduations. I’ve had to get beyond the idea that it seems a bit impersonal, and realize often times it’s the most practical. I love to be able to add my own personal touch by making a special card to hold the gift. Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy card with a gift card pocket, yet it’s super cute and looks much more complicated than it really is!
I love the Timeless Tulips Stamp set. It’s quick and simple, yet so very pretty! I stamped this tulip on one of the prints from the Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper. It was the perfect variation of color for the flower.
The little hidden pocket on the inside is the perfect place to hold a gift card.
I’ve done a brief video sharing how to cut and fold the card.

Sometimes you just need something quick and simple, Using Memories & More Cards are a great option. I love working with The Flowers For Every Season Card Pack. There’s such a variety of color and flowers, you can use for any occasion as well as any season! Here are a few ideas. The colors used in this card pack are Stampin’ Up!’s new 2020-2022 in colors.
I made up a quick little box that holds the cards. Such a fun gift for a friend!
Just add a sentiment of your choice and a few embellishments to finish off your card. This “thinking of You” card uses a sentiment from the Rooted In Nature Stamp set.
I stepped this card up just a bit by fussy cutting a few flowers and adding some die cut sprigs to this memories & more card.
Adding just a few die cut sprigs from the Forever Flourishing dies and a small bow is just what this card needed to finish it off.
Adding a small black layer behind both the memories and more card as well as the whisper white sentiment gives this just a little added pop.
I wanted this card to say something different than what was printed on the memories and more card. Using one of the frame label stickers included in the pack, I was able to stamp what I wanted, make a layer to go behind it and cover the sentiment perfectly.
