Extreme Make Over Blog Edition!!

Many Thanks to Michelle Laycock  for my new look!

I’ve been “bloggers Awol” for a number of months…….

Here I am ~~ I’m back!

I’ve said it before, and I still don’t get it…. How in the world do all these busy stampers keep up with all their classes, project designing and blog posting.  Not to even mention their husbands, their children, cooking & cleaning, laundry, and soccer & scouts, birthday parties, and on and on and on!!  I don’t know, but my hats off to you!

We had a very busy summer then jumped right into the school year — and somehow it got to be October already!!

One of the highlights of the past couple of months for my girls and me was travelling from home (in California) to South Carolina to visit with my Grandma and help her celebrate turning 100 years young!

My Grandma, my mom, myself and my girls

(doesn’t Grandma look great!!)

My mom wanted to do something special for everyone who attended and she asked if I would design a little favor for everyone who came.  But since she was planning to make 100 of them, “please keep it simple!”  🙂

My mom did a fabulous job making 100 of these little gifts….. The guests loved them!!

Enjoy your day — give someone special an extra hug today!  🙂

Portfolio Project for August Classes……

We’ve really enjoyed doing this beautiful card portfolio in my classes this month.  I have a couple of more classes before the end of the month, if you’re interested in coming and making your own, let me know by sending me an e-mail.

Out of town?  Not a problem, this can be a “class by mail”, send me an e-mail for the details!

The original design came from Andrea Walford. Check out her website at  Sunny Stampin’ Inc. She has lots of great ideas and fun tutorials.

This project uses Stampin’ Up!’s Simple Friendship Stamp Set.  And features 4 matching note cards with a place to put the envelopes and postage stamps.

The Stampin’ Up! colors used are Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Very Vanilla, with Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper.

I’ll post pictures of the 4 cards tomorrow.

Until then…..Have a Happy Day!  🙂
