Punch Art – For The New Mommy!

This is the perfect Mother’s Day card for a new mommy-to-be!

I love how this turned out.  Made from many different punches.

Pregnant-Mommy

I used a card from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Everyday Catalog.  I cut the card in half to use it as part of my card front.  With the exception of the purse, which uses the Dress Up Stamp set, She is made up of ALL punches!

By The Tide Masculine Birthday Card

Masculine cards are sometimes difficult to come up with.  Michelle Haney is one of my very creative Downline Members.  I asked her to do a little creating for me this month, and this is one of her designs.  I love how it turned out!

Lobster anyone?

Stampin’ Up! DSP Sampler Pack

I wanted to send a special thank-you gift to my downline members.  So I created this Designer Series Paper Sampler from all the Papers in the Spring 2014 Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.   And made it into a tablet with a cute cover.  I loved how they turned out!  I hope you like them too.

March 2014 DSP Sampler Tablet5

Cut the DSP to your desired size.  The size shown here is 4″x6″.  This way we were able to get 12 per package.  I used a stiff piece of cardboard (the cardboard that comes in our DSP packs works great!) as the backing.  Use 2 binder clips to hold your stack together.  It’s very important that the top lines up straight.  Using Rubber Cement, brush a good amount of glue along the top edge.  Let these dry for a few minutes before removing the binder clips.

For easy reference I added a list of the DSP papers and the coordinating colors to the inside of the tablet.

 March 2014 DSP Sampler Tablet2

I created my covers and added embellishments and once the rubber cement is dry they can be attached to the tablet.  I did this with just a bit of sticky strip across the back.

March 2014 DSP Sampler Tablet

It’s very cool to make your own tablet and just pull the individual sheets out as you need them.

March 2014 DSP Sampler Tablet4

I was very happy with the finished product — from the responses that I’ve received from my downline members, they were too.
